Khel Maharan Yojana: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Ji has begun खेल महारान असम Registration for all Assam players. The registration date for the Assam Khel Maharan has been set. Assam Khel Maharan 2024
Assam Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma and the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs established the Assam Khel Maharan 2024 to encourage Assamese youth to participate in the Games. The state will host 2024 from November 1, 2023, to January 10, 2024, according to the administration. This year, more than 50 lakh players will participate in खेल महरान 2024, which is being organized by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department. The Gramme Panchayat, ULB, and Ward levels, as well as the Gramme Parishad Department Committee and MAC levels, have agreed to organize खेल महरान for the Bodoland Territorial Cause. Five different sports, including kabaddi, athletics, football, volleyball, and kho kho, will be played in Assam.

The objective of असम खेल महरान 2024
Every year, the Assam Government organizes असम खेल महरान to promote sports in the state; many young people from the state participate to demonstrate their skills in a specific sport. The key reason for conducting Khel Maharan 2024 is that Assam requires sports talent development.
